133 GrOl is a transnational project for musicians from the twinned cities Groningen and Oldenburg. The idea is to strengthen the network of musicians, creatives and cultural activists from both cities.

The outcome of the project can be

experienced through a music compilation featuring musicians from Groningen and Oldenburg which can be downloaded for free on this webside.

In addition, the compilation is more than just a varied mixture of music - the core of the project is a remix work, in which participants from both cities "rework" the pieces of their musical neighbours and create completely new pieces of music. Thereby resulting in a diverse mixture of music: from earthy folk-rock to distorted guitar tunes, from deep grooving dubstep to easy-going house music, right up to high-class dancehall productions.

The compilations gives an impression of what is going on underneath the (musical) surface of Groningen and Oldenburg. So, download it for free and enjoy the music!

The project 133 GrOl is realized by the local TV and Radio Station Oldenburg eins. 133 GrOl is a Part of the project series of Kulturetage in the context of the EU funded project "Creative City Challenge".
